Georgia: The Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti State Trustee David Verava hosted a working meeting with the Mayor of Chkhorotsku Municipality, the Deputy Mayor, and the Head of Service. The main aim of the meeting was to discuss ongoing and planned projects in Chkhorotskhu Municipality.
It should be noted that they also talked about the current challenges of the projects and their solutions at the working meeting. The City Hall of Chkhorotskhu Municipality shared the snippets of the working meeting on its official Facebook page.
Accordingly, the City Hall of Chkhorotskhu Municipality also shared a small note about the meeting along with the photographs. According to the small note shared by the City Hall, it should be noted that the State Commissioner David Verava got acquainted with the mini-sport field, bridge rehabilitation, and road infrastructure works.
Works done within the framework of the Project
In the city of Chkhorotsku, work is being done on a miniature square. The project includes setting up artificial fencing, lighting, and stadium fencing. Furthermore, headlights will be installed on the field for both basketball and football. Stands have been set up for the spectators. A total of 254,000 GEL is allocated from the local budget for the work.
As the state trustee noted, in the village of Kveda, the construction of the motor bridge was completed. The length of the bridge is 43 and the width is 9 meters. The project was implemented within the framework of the liquidation works. Notably, the project was financed by 965 533 GEL from the state budget.
Within the framework of the liquidation works the construction of a motor bridge is also actively underway in the village of Khabume, Jumiti district. The state budet will provide 2,792,477 GEL to finance the project. The length of the bridge will be 161, and the width will be 9,50 meters.
During the meeting, David Verava also stated that in the center of the village Kveda Chkhorotsku, the rehabilitation of the road section was completed with asphalt paving. Additionally, within the framework of the project, Drainage channels and a water-proof bridge were also set up. The works were done in the regions with co-financing of the local budget and the local budget. The project budget amounted to 735,000 GEL.
