An important session of the municipality government was held in Tbilisi City Hall. The mayor and other representatives discussed many important issues.
Notably before discussing the issues included in the agenda Mayor Kakha Kaladze made several statements and expressed hope that many Georgian fans will attend the football matches planned in German cities.
Mayor Kakha Kaladze talked about the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia. As per the prime minister there will be additional direct flights to Germany with the facility of fixed, low ticket rates during the European Football Championship.
The mayor also said “The whole of Georgia is waiting for the start of the European football championship. Of course many people want to travel to Germany to support the national team. I want to respond to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s initiative to schedule additional direct flights to Germany, which will allow Georgian fans to come and attend the games at the stadium. I welcome this decision of the Georgian Prime Minister because citizens will be able to buy tickets at an affordable price”.
According to The mayor the central government will distribute additional information about flights and tariffs in coming days so that people can avail the facility.
“As far as I know work in this direction has already started and the central government will distribute additional information for the convenience of people. I hope that many Georgian fans will come to the cities of Germany where the meetings of our national team will be held and we will have the opportunity to support the national team together,” said Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
The mayor of Tbilisi further underlined that rules for control over the polluted vehicles from the construction site will be tightened because, despite the established fines the representatives of the construction companies behave unscrupulously.
At the same time many other issues were discussed including the water and electricity supply to all the areas of the locality. The people of Tbilisi also lauds the decision taken by the Georgian Prime Minister to allow football fans to travel to Germany.
