Due to the event planned by Tbilisi City Hall, the movement of vehicles near the European Square will be restricted from 00:00 to 15:00 on April 22, 2026. The restriction will be in effect from Gorgasli Square, as well as from Metekhi Bridge and Metekhi ascent towards Europa Square.
Traffic will be prohibited from the Pandus of the tunnel on the left bank of the Noah Jordanian slaughterhouse towards Metexi Church. The Tbilisi City Hall shared the announcement via its official Facebook Page on April 22, 2026, Wednesday.
Vehicles will be able to move from Gorgasli Square to Kote Abkhazi Street. On the right bank of Mtkvari, cars will be able to move from Gorgasali Street in the direction of Zviad Gamsakhurdia Beach, and from Gorgasali Square in the direction of Kote Abkhaz Street, from Tumaniani Street to Gorgasali Street. Vehicles will also move from Europa Square to the ramp entering the tunnel on the left bank of Mtkvri.
The part of public transport, which will be moved using the European Square, will change the direction of movement. In particular, municipal buses: N102, N301, N310, N331, N345, and minibuses: N550 and N580, which move from Gorgasali street to Baratashvili bridge and Baratashvili street, via Metekhi bridge, Europe Square, and Noah Jordanian beach, from Gorgasali street will connect to Kote Abkhaz street, and from Liberty Square will continue to move both Baratashvili I street and Rustaveli avenue in the direction, according to the designated route.
Regarding the route N333, the bus in the direction of Ketevan Queen Avenue will not enter Europa Square from Costa Khetagurov Street and will go in the direction of Baratashvili Bridge, will turn back to Baratashvili Street, and will connect with Baratashvili Hill via the bridge, then continue on the designated route.
