Georgia: The Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology hosted the XVI National Congress of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, which was held from May 5 to May 8, 2025.
During the event, students of the Veterinary Medicine and Biology programs of the Georgian Agrarian University, the Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine, and lecturers participated in various activities.
The students of the Georgian Agrarian University presented various reports. The topic of the report by the Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine, Besarion Lasareishvili, was: “Bacteriophages and the immune system: the future of phage therapy.”

Sessions Held At XVI National Congress
One of the sessions within the congress was moderated by Eka Ghvaladze, Professor of the Georgian Agrarian University and Head of the Veterinary Clinical Laboratory.
During the congress, the participants discussed the latest research conducted in the field of allergology and immunology. They also discussed the achievements accumulated in recent years in the clinical management of immunopathological diseases.
