Tbilisi: Tea Tsulukiani, the minister of culture, sports and youth of Georgia, visited active schools of the Shia Kartli region. She also holds a meeting here with the attendees to learn about the school’s performance.
The school’s full name is Salotbar School of the State Folklore Centre; this was named after the SP Anzor Erkomaishvivli in the Kaspi, Kareli and Gori area.
The minister, Tea Tsulukiani, along with deputy director Giorgi Gabunia and the mayor of Kaspi Municipality Vakhtang Maisuradze, also visited the Salotbar school. Here, they met with the Salotbar Tornike Merabishvivli, students of the school and other representatives of the schools who were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, at the Kareli school, the minister Tea Tsulukiani, the head of the state folklore centre, met with the first deputy mayor of the municipality, Vladimir Sulakvelidsze. It is worth mentioning that this school was opened in the year 2022, and at present, one hundred and four students are studying here.
At many schools, ministers met with many students and held talks with the school management and staff. She appreciated the school that is making the best effort for the upliftment of Georgian culture and art.
She also came to know about the challenges and problems being faced by the schools. School management, as well as staff, shared their views with the visiting minister.
Minister Tea Tsulukiani thanked the representative of the schools for making the Georgian culture popular in the country as well as in the region and at the international level.
A major priority of the school was to support Georgian folklore and promote its development in future so that the next generation can feel proud of their rich past heritage and cultural values.
The minister stated that the ministry is always keen to provide all kinds of assistance to schools so that schools can promote the Georgian culture and heritage in letter and spirit.
