Tbilisi: Giorgi Amilakhvar the Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, recently met with young people in Rustavi Mediathek. The important meeting was held within the framework of the Rustavi City Hall project “Generation Rustaveli ” and the Mayor of Rustavi Nino Latsabidze, also attended.
While speaking on the occasion Minister Giorgi Amilakhvar introduced the participants of the meeting to the various steps being taken to support the youth. He also talked about the country’s development and provided information about various important news in this regard.
Giorgi Amilakhvari specifically stated, “We had a very interesting conversation with young people about our vision, future plans, and initiatives that we plan to implement this year. We are happy to see that the youth is ready to be part of the country’s development process”.
It is to be added that the minister further added,“We have introduced young people about projects and reforms in higher and vocational education of the country as skill-based education is the need of the country. The discussion was very productive for all of us as we heard different ideas and initiatives from young people.
According to the minister It’s very happy to know that young people are well informed about the reforms being implemented by the Ministry for their progress and also it’s vital to engage students in the decision-making process to have their interests in mind when planning future initiatives”.
The meeting was held in question-and-answer mode and the young people had an opportunity to get detailed information from the Minister personally regarding the issues that were also very important to them.
Rustavi Majority MP Irakli Shatakishvili also attended the meeting with the youth and addressed them while motivating them to contribute to the development of the nation.
It is noteworthy that “Toba Rustaveli” is a youth project of Rustavi City Hall. Within it young people invited through online registration will have the opportunity to meet a politician of their choice.
