Georgia: The meeting of the Executive Committee was held under the leadership of SEOK President Leri Khabelov in the National Olympic Committee of Georgia on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The meeting discussed the issues on the agenda, namely: the program of sports in the Youth Olympic Games (October-November 2026, Senegal) and the prospects of participation of Georgian athletes in the Olympics.
From October 30 to November 13, 2026, the 4th Youth Olympic Games will be held in Dakar, the capital of Senegal. 2500-2700 athletes from 15-18 years will participate in 25 sports. For the first time in the history of the Games, qualifying tournaments have been held and, considering the rating principle, have been canceled.
All National Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee Sports Dep Sends an application to participate in the games to the participant. Seok applied to participate in the 4th Youth Olympic Games within the deadline.
Sports included in the Youth Olympic Games “Dakar-2026” program: archery, endurance, badminton, basketball 3X3, breaking, baseball, boxing, cycling, horse riding, fencing, futsal, sports gymnastics, sand volleyball, judo, rowing, rugby (men’s), crossbow, skateboarding, swimming, taekwondo, triathlon, table tennis, sand volleyball, sand wrestling, wushu.
The meeting determined the date for the invitation of the Seok session and approved the agenda of the accounting session. Based on the results of the sports year, the winners of the SEOK nominations were determined.

At the Agmascom meeting, Seok’s challenge was announced to appoint scholarships for 6 Georgian athletes in preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. According to the Olympic Solidarity rules, the duration of the scholarship is determined in accordance with current sporting results. Olympic scholarships have been awarded to two-time Olympic champion Lasha Bekauri, world champions Ether Liparteliani and Giorgi Sardalashvili, Olympic Games silver medalist Givi Macharashvili, Olympic bronze medalist Lasha Guruli, and World Championship medalist Ramaz Zoidze.
