The mayor of Kobuleti, Zurab Pataradze, and the chairman of the Adjara government, Irakli Tsetskhladze, visited the renovated car parks of the Kobuletia Municipal Transport and Cleaning Service and introduced the progress of the construction of the social house.
The government chairman noted that such projects have special importance for the development of the municipality, improving the social conditions and quality of life of the population.
Zurab Pataradze spoke to the representatives of the municipal car park and was interested in the new bus routes and the flexibility of the traffic schedule. At this stage, 5 buses in the municipality already serve passengers, and the remaining 3 buses will start functioning from today.
“Renewed municipal buses will significantly improve the conditions of people’s movement both in the city and in the villages.” “Our priority is to make the move safe, comfortable, and accessible in all municipalities and villages, so work in this direction will continue actively in the future,” said Zurab Pataradze.
The car park of the Kobuleti cleaning service has also been renewed. 566 200 GEL was spent to buy special equipment. In the current period, another special piece of equipment – a self-driving car will be added to the car park.
The Chairman of the Government also got acquainted with the process of construction of the social house in Kobuleti. According to Zurab Pataradze, the support of ecomigrant families is one of the main priorities of the government’s social policy.
“It is a joy that the construction of the Kobuleti social house is in an active phase. Within the project, 126 eco-migrant families will be given modern housing apartments. Up to 25 million GEL will be spent on the project, which clearly shows that the Georgian government and the Adjara government give special importance to the welfare of the population. “I am sure that projects like this will contribute to supporting eco-migrant families and addressing social challenges,” the Prime Minister said.
Along with the Chairman of the Government, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara, Tsotne Ananidze, Member of the Parliament of Georgia, Gia Chkonia, and representatives of the Government of Adjara were present.
