Kobuleti, Georgia: A new tourist complex is set to be built in Kobuleti on Georgia’s Black Sea coast, for which an opening ceremony was held at the Swissôtel Kobuleti Beach Resort site on June 3, 2026, Wednesday.

- Chairman of the Adjara Government, Zurab Pataradze,
- Chairman of Adjara High Council Tsotne Ananidze,
- Representatives of central and local governments, self-governments, the business sector, and international partner companies.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Chairman of the Adjara Government, Founders of Investor Companies – “Ark” and “Next”, as well as Vice President of Accor’s Operations in Georgia, spoke.
A large-scale investment project in the resort zone of Kobuleti will combine modern tourist, housing, and recreational infrastructure, and as the chairman of the Adjara government, Zurab Pataradze noted, such large-scale investment projects will contribute significantly to the economic strengthening of the region, the creation of new jobs, and the development of tourist infrastructure.
The Chairman, Zurab Pataradze, noted, “Today we have the opportunity to start the construction of a large-scale multifunctional complex in Kobuleti. When it comes to investments, diversification of the economy remains one of the top priorities. This project has special importance for our region and country.”
According to him, Investment of this scale means new jobs, economic activity, and additional opportunities for Kobuleti and the region as a whole. “It is a pleasure that Adjara is increasingly becoming a center of interest for international investors, and we are ready to work closely with each of them,” said Zurab Pataradze.
The investment volume of the project is 300 million US dollars. The complex includes a hotel, conference, sports, health, and recreation infrastructure.
International company Chapman Taylor’s Madrid office worked on the architectural concept of a hotel-residential complex. The project will be implemented on behalf of the international hotel brand Swissôtel. Swissôtel is an international hotel brand of Accor, bringing together more than 40 hotels in more than 20 countries around the world.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, and the investors put a symbolic capsule in the foundation of the construction project.
