The Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, got acquainted with the exam process at the N3 Public School named after Ivane Javakhishvili in Poti during his visit.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the Education Minister’s visit on its official Facebook Page on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The Georgian Education Ministry also shared a small note about the visit along with its glimpses.
“All over the country, exams are held in a peaceful environment; entrants have all the conditions to be able to express their knowledge and abilities to the maximum. My deputies and I will visit all exam centers to get acquainted with the exam process on the spot and wish our dear young people success,” – said Givi Mikanadze.
Tamar Memanishvili, Director of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, and Mayor of Poti Beka Vacharadze were present with the Minister at the Examination Center. On July 7, entrants will take the exam in English, while teachers will pass the exam in physics.
About 1000 students, more than 550 teachers, and applicants who want to be teachers will take the exams in the public school named after Ivane Javakhishvili N3 in Poti city.
More than 83,000 applicants have registered for 2026 exams across the country, including more than 43,000 applicants for the Unified National Examinations.
Unified National Examinations on July 22 will end with a physics exam. Teachers’ exams will be held from July 5, Student Grant Competition will be held on July 17, and Master’s exams will be held on July 23-24.
