The Chairman of the Adjara Government Zurab Pataradze met with Chairman of the Supreme Council Tsotne Ananidze, Mayor of Kobuleti Irakli Tsetskhladze and Delegate of Kobuletti to the Georgian Parliament, Gia Chkonia, acquainted with infrastructure projects going on in the municipality.
The Government of Adjara shared glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook Page on July 11, 2026, Saturday. The Government also shared a small note about the meeting along with its glimpses.
In the city of Kobuleti, on Leselidze Street, the square is being rehabilitated, and in the village of Gelauri, tennis courts will be set up together with the square.
According to Zurab Pataradze, the goal of the Adjara government is to create a comfortable environment for each person living in the region. According to him, it is important to strengthen the tourist potential of Kobuleti municipality and implement projects that will make the city even more attractive in all four seasons.
On Leselidze Street, near the library, a square will be set up with children’s attractions, recreation areas and parking infrastructure. The area will house decorative chairs, bench tables and modern outdoor lighting systems.
Infrastructural works are also underway in the village of Gelauri. The project considers the provision of tennis courts with appropriate infrastructure. The surrounding square will be equipped at the same time, which will become a green and recreational space of modern standards.
Representatives of the Adjara government, as well as local self-government, city hall and city council leaders, got acquainted with the progress of the works.
