Batumi city has achieved another milestone with the inauguration of new recreational park at territory of Mamia Varshanidze Street #71.
The city council already announced the construction of 19 recreational space in current year 2025 that will be established at different location across municipality.
The glimpses of inauguration were sharde on official Facebook page of Batumi city hall. The official Facebook page of city hall stated, “New recreational space has been established at territory of Mamia Varshanidze Street #71. This has been inaugurated today after complete renovation.”
The new recreational space includes the children’s entertainment, sports and recreation spaces. At the same time outdoor lighting and drainage systems have been installed, landscaping works have been carried out and parking infrastructure has been placed to provide best experience to visitors as well.
It is also worth to note that another such park has also appeared in the city, where the best conditions for recreation and entertainment for people of any age have been created with financial assistance of Batumi city hall as well.
An amount of 1.5 million GEL was spent on the work and in parallel, rehabilitation works are underway on Mamia Varshanidze Street. It is worth noting that last year the reconstruction-rehabilitation of the municipal temporary night shelter adjacent to the square was completed, by city hall administration.
At this recreational square all beneficiaries can avail various types of services in a comfortable environment. The creation and development of recreational spaces are being built on priority in Batumi. In 2025, 19 new recreational spaces will be created in Batumi and 5 will be rehabilitated.
The information about new recreation spaces were also shared itself by municipality on official Facebook page few days ago. The resident of Batumi as well as social media user lauds this unique initiative of Municipality.
