Batumi: The Batumi city is all set to implement a new program for better housing facilities. The program namely “Batumi Without Dilapidated Houses” will be implemented in various parts of city for needly families.
The official Facebook page of municipality has shared all details about this new housing program. As per the program “Batumi Without Dilapidated Houses” program, residential buildings are being reinforced in Zubalashvili Street 18 and Gorgiladze Street number 80.
Similarly the construction of a square has begun near Fridon Khalvashi Avenue 374, along with rehabilitation of the drainage system on Opizrebi Street where construction is on full swing.
It is also to be added that construction of a retaining wall is being carried out in the third alley of Goderdzi Chokheli as well as at Petre Iberi street 43, Satnoeba Street 7, Todogauri Street 27, Zedagheli Street 63, Machakhela Street 58 and Markoz Achareli Street.
As per additional information’s concrete paving is being carried out on Ana Kalandadze Street. Whereas preparation of the ground for the construction of a driveway is underway in the New Boulevard, near Ardagani Lake also.
Moreover the laying of rubber flooring on children’s playgrounds is actively continuing and work is expected to be completed soon. The damaged roof of a residential building located on K. Gamsakhurdia Street 1 are being reconstructed.
On the other hand elevators are being installed on Davit Gudiashvili Street 18 and Zurab Gorgiladze Street 59. The pedestrian crossings are being drawn throughout the city and speed limit barriers are being installed.
Notably to check the ecological condition of the lake water, laboratory research is being conducted on Ardagani and Nuri lakes every month. Mechanical cleaning works are being carried out daily. The coastline of the Old Boulevard has been cleaned.
