UK: British Premier Boris Johnson on Tuesday stated that Britain would expedite the process of granting visas for Ukrainian refugees.
When asked about the slow processing time for granting visas to thousands of women and children, Johnson stated:
Could we have done it faster? “Yes, we could,” said the British Prime Minister.
Johnson decided not to allow visa-free travel for Ukrainians, as other European countries have done, as a security measure to “protect the system from those who might want to abuse it.”
Moreover, on the same day, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, addressed the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and provided additional military aid worth 300 million euros to the country.
As per the sources, Britain’s military assistance includes radars, heavy crane drones and thousands of night-vision devices.
We will do our best to hold Russia accountable for the crimes of this war.
At this moment of fear, I have one message for you: Ukraine will win; Ukraine will be free!” Johnson said.
Johnson said Britain would continue to support Ukraine with arms and ammunition, funding and humanitarian aid.
We and our friends will continue to supply arms, funding and humanitarian aid to Ukraine until we achieve the long-term goal of strengthening Ukraine so that no one can dare to attack them, Johnson said.
