Ambrolauri Hosts Meeting with Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti

Georgia: The Ambrolauri recently hosted a working meeting with the Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti Women’s Organization Regional Council. It was led by Christina Kobakhidze. It is a significant step towards advancing women’s empowerment

Christina Kobakhidze praised the dedication and expertise of the council’s members, recognizing their unwavering efforts in driving forward the agenda of women’s empowerment. “2023 was active and productive and we continue to work tirelessly towards advancing the cause. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every board member for their hard work and dedication”, she remarked.

The main parts of the discussions were the pressing issues that will shape the action plan of the Women’s Organization in the coming months. The council engaged in robust dialogue, deliberating on a range of thematic directions aimed at amplifying the voices and rights of women across the region. From economic empowerment to healthcare access and beyond, the council demonstrated a steadfast commitment to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by women.
