Tbilisi, Georgia: The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has set the deadlines of registration and examinations for those who wish to pass the I-XII grade program in the form of extracurricular form. Interested candidates can register for the examination from 7 February to 15 February 2023 while the examinations will run from 20 February to 7 March 2023.
Persons are eligible to take the exam if their age corresponds to or exceeds the age group of external pupils and has passed the advanced class curriculum.
On the occasion of external registration, an adult interested person or a legal representative of a minor interested person shall submit a statement with the necessary documentation to the Resource Center within the stipulated terms of registration, in accordance with the following rule:
1: If a person, who wants to get general education in the form of external education, is studying at the school – the application will be received at the resource center in which the relevant school is located;
2: If the person does not study at school – the application will be received in any resource center, according to the person’s wish.
The list of necessary documents to be submitted to the resource center for the purpose of registration for exams:
a) Application of an adult interested person or a legal representative of a minor interested person to receive education in the form of an externship, in which the following information must be indicated: name, surname and contact information (address, telephone number, e-mail address) of the applicant for education in the form of an external study;
-the individual class/classes/semester of general education, as well as the subject/subjects included in the individual class/semester, which the person wants to overcome in the form of an externship;
-the language in which the person wishing to receive education as an externship wants to pass the externship exam (Georgian, Russian, Azerbaijani, Armenian); foreign language/languages, in which the applicant for an external education must take an external exam, if necessary;
-an optional subject provided by the national curriculum, which a person wishing to overcome general education wants to take as an externship;
b) a copy of the birth certificate or identity document of the person wishing to receive education as an external student;
c) In the case of registration for the exam to pass a separate class/classes/semester of general education in the form of an externship, a document confirming that the person has mastered the general education program of the class/semester of general education that precedes the class/semester to be passed in the form of an externship.
d) in the event that the person received education abroad, a document confirming completion of the relevant educational program, which must be recognized in accordance with the law;
e) In the case of registration for the exam to overcome the subject/subjects included in a separate class/semester of the secondary level in the form of an externship, a certificate issued by the school confirming that the person must overcome the general educational program of the subject/subjects included in a separate class/semester of the secondary level of general education in the form of an external study.
