As many parts of the country are facing extreme cold waves along with snowfall, the weather department has released the latest report. As per this report the departmentn has released the schedule for expected weather in Georgia on January 25-27,2024.
As per the report relatively cold and mostly unpleasant weather is expected in Georgia on January 25- 26. The frost will intensify into the overnight hours. From January 27 there will be rainy weather again.
The capital city of Tbilisi will experience unpleasant weather on January 25- 26, and snowfall is possible on January 27. The air temperature at night will remain between -1 and -3, and during the day, +4 and +6 degrees will be recorded in some areas.
On January 25- 26, the coastal regions of Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti will experience unique weather. On January 27, it will rain. The air temperature during the daytime will be +6- +11 degrees.
On the other hand, in the lower regions of western Georgia of Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti, on January 25-26, there will be unique weather, and on January 27, it will rain again. The air temperature during the daytime will be +5, +10 degrees as per the report.
In the mountainous regions of western Georgia, namely Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, and Khulo, on January 25-26, there will be great weather, and on January 27, it will snow again. The air temperature during the day will be between -2 and +2 degrees.
In the highland regions of western Georgia, like Mestia and Bakhmaro, there will be unique weather on January 25- 26, and on January 27, it will snow. The report added that the air temperature in the daytime will be -4, -6 degrees.
Similarly, with respect to the region of Kartli, including Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, On January 25-26, there will be unpleasant weather, and on January 27, rainfall is expected. The air temperature during daytime will be +4, +6 degrees.
In the Kakheti region, which includes Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro; on January 25-26, the weather will be unpredictable, and on January 27, it rain is expected. The air temperature during daytime will be +4, +6 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of East Georgia, like Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Fasanauri, and Dedoplistskaro, on January 25-26, there will be unpleasant weather January 27 snow. The air temperature during the day will be -1, -3 degrees.
On January 25- 26, unique weather will occur in the highland regions of East Georgia: Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo. On January 27, it will snow. The air temperature in the daytime will be -4, -6 degrees.
