The office of kvareli municipality have invited local residents for an important meeting. The meeting has been called to discuss in detail of the projects under village support program.
It is worth to mention that by decision of the Government of Georgia, an amount of 40,830,000 GEL has been allocated nationwide. This released amount has been issued for the implementation of the “Rural Support Program” throughout country.
Since the announcement of village support program, various municipalities and city hall are holding meeting with residents. The meeting are aimed to discuss the plans to execute development work effectively at fast pace.
It is also to be noted that in current year of 2025, 326,000 GEL has been allocated for the implementation of the aforementioned village support program in Kvareli Municipality. The meetings in villages, in the format of a general meeting will begin on February 5 and will be held in 21 villages of the municipality in stages.
The schedules for meeting that will be held on February 13 is as per following:
- Chantliskure – 12:00 PM – in the village center
- Zinobiani – 12:45 PM – in the village center
- Tsitskanaantseri – 1:30 PM – in the village center
- Kuchatani – 2:15 PM – near the administrative building
On the other hand on the February 14 the meetings will be held as per schedule mentioned below:
- Almaty – 12:00 PM – in the village center
- Shakriani – 12:45 pm – in the village center
- Grdzelichala – 1:30 pm – in the village center
The Village Support Program is implemented to solve existing problems in the village, which aims to improve relations between the population and self-government bodies and eliminate existing problems in rural areas.
Every year such meeting is organised so that maximum people can share their opinions for governance. They can also shard their suggestion for effective implementation of the development projects. Moreover, with public participation the priorities areas can be identified for development work under program.
