Ozurgeti: Mayor visit Needy families

Avtandil Talakvadze the Mayor of the Ozurgeti municipality of Georgia visited the families of needy people in the locality. He also handed over essential things to these families as well.

Avtandil Talakvadze was accompanied by his deputies and during their visit discussed the problems of these families.It is specifically to be mentioned that Mayor Avtandil Talakvadze is very active in social services in his municipality. In the past years, he also helped a number of families with essential articles and financial aid as well.

Mayor Avtandil Talakvadze informed regarding this initiative on his social media handle, where he wrote that “Today, with my deputy together I visited families with social problems and personally got to know their needs.I know that many more families are waiting for support from the City Hall, and we will try our best to be there for them in the future.Caring for citizens and reacting to their problems is our main priority. I wish you health and prosperity!”.

The people who get help include old age person, children, the physically disabled and other helpless persons. All the people who received help from the Mayor were very happy to receive the help.

The essential items that were provided to needy families included many things like grocery items, clothes, warm clothes, medicines, books, and stationery.

It is worth mentioning that due to poverty, many families have been deprived of many basic facilities. He also discusses many things with these families. However, he also assured them that the government would provide every kind of assistance to these families in future as well.

Meanwhile, reacting to the post of the Mayor, the social media user also appreciated the help initiative of the Mayor. As per local residents, this initiative should be held in other municipalities as well.
