Nino Latsabidze, the Mayor of Rustavi city hall distributed sports equipment to sportspersons and coaches. On this occasion 450 sportsmen and coaches from the Rustavi received the highest-quality sports equipment.
Rustavi City Hall purchased complete sports equipment for successful Rustavi athletes and coaches. As per the information, after receiving these equipment, the Rustavi’s sportsmen will present themselves at all international city tournaments and championships in high-quality clothes decorated with the city’s branding.
The mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze gave exclusively designed sports clothes to the successful athletes and all the coaches and teachers of the Sports Development Center. The Mayor wished them further success in their sports careers and presented the reform implemented to promote the development of sports in Rustavi.
Rustavi Majority Deputy in the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Shatakishvili, members of the “Georgian Dream” faction of the Rustavi City Council, Rustavi sportsmen and coaches attended the event which was held at the Rustavi Sports Educational Museum.
Every year 1200 students are trained in various sports in Rustavi. Athletes from Rustaveli who have successfully competed in Georgian, European and world tournaments receive a special scholarship established by the City Hall.
It is worth noting that the Mayor has taken the unique initiative in this direction to provide world-class facilities to sportspersons. The sportspersons were dressed in their sports clothes and looked very attractive. In addition to the Mayor  many other sportspersons addressed the attendees. All of them motivated the sportspersons as well.
At the end of the event, the sportspersons expressed their gratitude to the Mayor and other event’s representatives. Meanwhile the social media users also appreciated the Mayor and other representatives of the city hall for helping the young sportsperson.
