The professor emphasized the main features of modern theater – constant search and experiments. He noted that technological advancements have significantly changed the aesthetics of the stage and the shape of performances. Lasha Chkhartishvili explained that today many performances use video projections, virtual reality, and audiovisual installations, offering a whole new experience for viewers and actors.
However, according to the professor, technological news are only tool, whose main purpose is to deepen human emotional involvement. The essence of theatre still lies in deep communication, creative work created on stage, and lively interaction between the audience.
